UTorrent will now download the files on its own by connecting to seeders. In the meantime, others will be able to take bits of data from your computer. So, that’s how you download movies using uTorrent. Once the download is done, it’s advisable to keep uTorrent active for a while. You have just set up Socks5 for uTorrent. To check if it works, here is what you have to do: 1. Go to this website. Scroll down to Torrent Address detection, press Activate, and click on this Magnet link. A new window will pop up. Capabilities¶
Right now it's capable of the following:
- Import an existing calibre library (optional)
- Find authors and add them to the database
- List all books of an author and mark ebooks or audiobooks as 'wanted'.
- LazyLibrarian will search for a nzb-file or a torrent or magnet link for that book
- If a nzb/torrent/magnet is found it will be sent to a download client or saved in a black hole where your download client can pick it up.

- When processing the downloaded books it will save a cover picture (if available) and save all metadata into metadata.opf next to the bookfile (calibre compatible format)

- AutoAdd feature for book management tools like Calibre which must have books in flattened directory structure, or use calibredb to import your books into an existing calibre library
- LazyLibrarian can also be used to search for and download magazines, and monitor for new issues
- Offers opds interface for ebook clients to browse and download books.

Torrent Tracker are used to help finding the peers and making a direct connection to each other so that Peer to Peer Torrenting can take place. Torrent tracker list is useful for this case because you can give a list to the torrent client software and increase the download speed of uTorrent because the more tracker it has the more direct connections and the higher is the speed. As you already know, Extratorrent was shut down recently so you may need extratorrent alternative sites and here are some more public and private tracker site.
What is Torrent Tracker
A torrent tracker is a server that tracks torrent users and keeps the information such as the number of seeders and leechers, the torrent filesize and number of downloads. Torrent is a peer-to-peer process. There is no central server for torrents. So how users find each other? Using trackers, simple. Torrent works by creating a small chunk of the file and sharing and distributing this file among the “swarm “.
When you put a .torrent file on your torrent client like uTorrent, Vuze, Bittorrent, qTorrent etc. it simply uses these torrent trackers to find the peers. Suppose, there are 900 seeders seeding a torrent and 800 leechers are downloading the torrent. Now the job of a tracker is to find who are interested in downloading the particular torrent file and when any user wants to download a torrent file, the torrent client then sends this request to one of the trackers and asks the tracker to register this user’s IP and port. Tracker then accepts the request and it tries to find the other user who also showed their interest by either seeding the torrent or currently downloading the torrent. When the torrent client finds the all these information from the torrent tracker then a direct connection is made among all of the peers.
As you can see, a torrent tracker knows your IP address and port. Now, there are some controversy running regarding tracker. Hollywood studios employ special torrent hunting team of professionals who normally can run uTorrent app and after it get connected with other peers it can easily note down the IP addresses. Note that, most of the Public trackers can be used like this to hunt down torrent downloader or uploader. Some Copyright Protection agencies even run honeypot tracker so that they can track down torrent downloaders. So I urge all Torrent users to use a VPN for Torrenting. When you are connected with a VPN, your real IP address is masked and your online activity is hidden from all ISPs, Copyright trolls, Govt. Agencies. To protect your privacy and to avoid copyright infringement notice you must turn on Torrent VPN. During our extensive torrent downloading test we found that Private Internet Access gives amazing download speed as all of their server is optimized specially for torrenting and P2P download.
Type of Torrent tracker
There are two types of Torrent tracker e.g. Public and Private . A public tracker or open tracker means any user can use the tracker by simply opening their bitTorrent client and add the tracker address. No registration or invitation is needed for public trackers. On the other hand, a private tracker is opened only for registered users and they limit the usage as per upload or download ration. You can read more about it from our Public vs Private Tracker list.
What a torrent tracker doesn’t do?
It IS NOT a proxy or middle-man between the peers.
It CAN NOT share DATA among the peers.
It DOES NOT store the .torrent file metadata.
It DOES NOT know which segment of the torrent file that you are downloading.
We use tracker only to increase the torrent download speed and it works.
When you find a torrent file with less seeder then you can take help of these tracker server so that uTorrent can find other seeder those are not being tracked by the current list.

How to add new trackers to utorrent?
To add the list, just copy and then open your uTorrent App.
Right Click on the torrent file from the list then select Properties from the bottom.
A new Window will appear where you can paste the trackers.
